Cub Scout packs are broken down into dens, each level based on the age and grade level of the boys.
Tiger Den is for boys in the first grade, and/or 7 years old. The Tiger Den teaches the boys to do their best and to be helpful to others. Tiger Cubs attend all den and pack meeting and outings with their adult partners (parent, relative or trusted friend over 18) as they transition into the pack. Tiger Cubs start the year by going on the steps of the Bobcat trail and earning the Bobcat Badge. After they they work on the five achievements in Tiger Cubs:
Bear Den is for boys in the third grade, and/or 9 years old. The bear trail requires 12 achievements selected out of 24 choices. There are achievements to pick from four different groups: GOD, COUNTRY, FAMILY, and SELF. Some of the achievements are worked on together during den meetings, while a number are completed with the adult partner at home. There are also Electives to choose from for adding to the Arrow Point collection. The Bear Den allows the boys to continue to bond in a cohesive group, while growing individually.

Webelos Scouts are boys in the fourth (Webelos I) or fifth grade (Webelos II). Webelos means "WE'll BE LOyal Scouts". Webelos is a transitional level from Cub Scouting into Boy Scouts. These boys work on some of the 20 different activity badges, each of which focus on a different subject in such areas as physical skills, mental skills, community, technology, and the outdoors. The entire den works together on one badge a month, mostly in meetings. A number of the activities take place outdoors. Webelos also enjoy more extensive camping than do the younger scouts, as the Council hosts a "Webelos Weekend" in the fall at Camp Black Creek in Sylvania, GA. This weekend teaches the Webelos how to camp using the Boy Scout method. After completing the activity badges needed to earn the Webelos badge, most Scouts will continue to earn additional badges to obtain their Arrow of Light award, Cub Scouting's highest award. The Webelos program is geared to helping the boys transition smoothly into Boy Scouts.
